the question ask for LAND, not ISLAND. the largest land on earth is Eurasia.

2) B: 2nd
When you overtake the 2nd position, meaning you are originally 3rd, you replace the 2nd position to be the new 2nd position.

3) F: It is hard to tell
unlike the previous question, think again, how can you even overtake the last position? the only reason is that you are one full round in front of him, and thus there is no change to your position.

4) D: 3
you take away 3, therefore YOU are left with 3.

7) Since the hour glass is excatly the same for top and bottom, turn over the hourglass.

8) 9
10 birds, 1 bird killed, 9 alive. all 9 remains capable of chipping. the question is asking for whether they are capable or not, instead of whether they remain there.

the question asked How many dollars. so $2008 worth more than any other value. The large amount of infomation is just to fool people.

The statement is true for a maths teacher who cannot count.

9 "How many dollars worth more?" doesn't even sound like a grammatically correct question. Don't understand what it is asking.
